Why is it that "faggot" and "queer" and "homo" have all become insults. Some people (most guys I know) get so angry when I jokingly call them gay that they won't even talk to me for days. This is ridiculous and disrespectful. Do you think the gay community goes around to their friends saying, "Dude, you're such a hetero. Get away from me" nope, they don't.

We had this very brief discussion during civics last year. Mr. Jordan says, "We aren't going to debate gay marriage
Veronica, "Well, why not?!"
Jordan, "Because anyone against it can't get passed the argument of that they just think homosexuality is wrong"
Veronica, "That's because that is the only argument they have against it. There is no real argument."
Jordan, "I said we aren't debating it."
Veronica, "No, but we can debate abortion and the death penalty, gun control and some stupid law in some retarded state that won't let some kid get photographed in the year book with a rifle. Clearly that case has some intellectual impact. Tell me Mr. Jordan, are you for or against?"
Jordan, "against"
Veronica, "Why?"
Jordan, "-babbles something about mortgage and insurance if the "gays" got married"
Veronica, "Yes, but let's let the "heteros" marry and divorce as many times as they would like, put their children through hell and ruin any hope for love or marriage that they may have had in the first place."
Jordan, "today we're debating gun control..."


If ANYONE can find me a sound and GOOD and RELEVANT argument against gay marriage, then I will personally go to them and apologize. But until you can, fuck you. It wasn't until the 1960s that interracial schools, let alone marriage, were legally allowed. In some parts of this country, they still aren't welcomed. What is everyone so damn afraid of? What did we do to you? Why can't my sister marry whoever she wants? Why does some retarded monkey who is only president because of his father's friend's money have any say in who I can and cannot marry? "The bond between a man and a woman" bullshit, it should be "the bond between two people, no matter race, religion, or sexuality, that is stronger than anything in this world and can only be felt by those pure of heart" to deny marriage to ANYBODY is cold hearted. To deny them of love is basically telling them that they aren't human. As if gays, lesbians, and bisexuals don't face enough ridicule from society, let's find a way to make them feel even more insecure than they do. You know what? I'm proud to be a bisexual, and my sister is proud to be a lesbian, and half of my friends are proud to be gay....when are you finally going to accept it? We accept the damn "proud to be an American" paraphernalia that really didn't come out until 9-11. That is pretty damn sad when it takes thousands dying to make you proud to be an American and what you truly are when most of the gay community has been proud of what they are since they knew. Before you judge us, try living like us. The bullshit, the insults, the ridicule that you people do because you don't accept us…that's terrorism, believe it or not. Chastising someone based on what they are, gay bashings, name calling…just because people aren't dying in masses doesn’t make you any different than the ones that are causing them to die.
